Matthew D. White

Bio

Matthew White is noted for his iconic photographs of coastal landscapes, waterways, industries, and urban locations along the U.S. Gulf Coast. He is available to shoot for clients from all parts of the U.S. and internationally, in virtually any city, town, or location for commercial, editorial or artistic purposes. As a New Orleans based photographer, Matthew is central to and within short driving distance of any gulf coast location. Working in high resolution digital and film format, he specializes in the photographic interpretation of vanishing landscapes and landmarks, coastal wetlands and waterways, industrial marine and energy market infrastructure - roads, bridges, refineries, ports, vessels, shipyards, lighthouses, and locks - as well as coastal and port cities, towns, and tourism locations. Through meticulous attention to the composition and printing of his photographs, Matthew White's philosophy is to capture as best as possible, the visual and emotional impact of a particular subject or locale. The best of what he can do for his clients arises from his own artistic sensibilities as a photographer and musician specializing in classical and jazz.
